Let’s talk baseball…

I grew up in the 1960s and 70s in that famous suburb northeast of Philly, Levittown, PA. We played a lot of sports in my neighborhood; with the Baby Boom in full swing, it was never hard to find enough kids to get a pick-up game of something going. And every now and then, a bunch of us would hop a train to see the Phillies play baseball at Connie Mack Stadium. That’s how my life-long love of baseball started, and here we are, nine books and countless short stories and essays later.

My latest book, I Am Not A Baseball Bozo: Honoring Good Players Who Played on Terrible Teams (1920-1999) has been released! In it, I have some fun with baseball history.
